GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Each Applicant must 

  • Be a born again, baptized and spirit filled Christian.

  • Must have an assurance of the call of God for the ministry.

  • Have a good moral character and agree with the doctrines of the Bible.

  • Be in sound health of body and mind.

  • Willing to obey the rules and regulations of the College.

  • Be at least eighteen years of age.

  • Fill and send the application before the due date along with the following requirements.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Documents required:

  • Written testimony about his/her experience of salvation and the call of God to the ministry. (Not exceeding 300 words)

  • Three passport size photographs must be included with the application form.

  • Copies of School/Secondary leaving certificate, Conduct certificate and Academic certificate.

  • Health certificate from a Doctor.

  • Recommendation letter from his/her Pastor.

  • The non- refundable fee of Rs. 50 as processing fee should be sent through money order/ draft/ postal order for Rs. 50/ drawn in favor of Bethel Faith Spark Bible College.

  •  If any one of the documents are not sent then the application shall be counted as invalid.

  • All of those above details should reach the Registrar before one month of the day of opening. After that, the applications reached the office with late shall be reviewed and given on the basis of availability of seats.

The following letter grades are used for evaluating all class assignments and exams.

Honor Roll

Full time students that maintain an average of B (80-89) attain superior academic standing.

Academic Probation

Students failing to maintain a minimum pass of D (40-69) are placed on academic probation at the beginning of the following semester. The student will remain under academic probation for no longer than one semester or until such time as the Principal deems that the quality of work meets the minimum pass of D. At the end of the semester, the Principal will determine if the student should continue or be dismissed for unsatisfactory progress. It will be necessary for that student to earn a semester average of D (40-49) to be taken off probation. After dismissal, a student may request re-admission by writing a letter to the Dean who will determine if the request should be granted.

Student Record

The student's academic file is handled in a confidential manner. Every effort is made to make records available to students within a reasonable amount of time.

Credit Hour

Each class hour consists of 50 minutes. It shall be equal to one credit hour of a semester. An average of eighteen semester hours of study shall be the academic load of a student.

Class Attendance 

Students are required to attend all Class without fail. However if a student is unable to attend class for un-avoidable reasons, the student must present a letter stating the reason of absence. If a student is habitually late to the class for more than 3 times it shall be counted as a day absent. Each un-excused absence will deduct 3 percentage points from the students final grade.  Absence of over ten percentages may disqualify the student from candidate to writing the examination. 

It is required of all students a must for the candidates to and participates in Chapels services, all seminars, crusades and special meetings which are conducted for the enrichment of students’ spiritual life.

Graduation Requirements

Requirements for graduation are; a completion of 36 prescribed semester credit hours for a one-year Certificate Degree, 72 prescribed semester credit hours for a two-year Diploma Degree and 108 prescribed semester credit hours  for a three –year Bachelors Degree. Students must maintain a minimum average of D(60-69) with no outstanding financial obligations to BFSBC to graduate.

Withdrawal from College

Any student desiring to withdraw from the college should notify the Principal and the Registrar. With the Principal's approval, the student will be given a final grade of WP (withdrawal with passing) except for courses where the student has failed or incomplete work. The student then would receive a final grade of WF (withdraw with failing). A student who fails to notify the Principal and Registrar to receive approval for withdrawal will receive an automatic final grade of WF in all classes.

The college reserves the right to request the withdrawal of students whose conduct is deemed inconsistent with the standards of the college. All such students must have the approval of the Principal to re-enter school.
